Integrative Counselling & Trauma Therapy

Helping Individuals to Grow & Thrive

Hi, and welcome, I am Jodie, a qualified Therapeutic counsellor. I’m dedicated to helping individuals navigate their personal growth journey with care, depth and curiosity.

I am passionate about working deeply with people, gently exploring and challenging childhood beliefs and patterns of behaviour that may feel impossible to change. As an Integrative counsellor, my work involves a blend of approaches to support personal growth, emotional clarity and nervous system regulation. My focus is on helping you improve your life from within.

You may be unsure of how to move forwards but whatever is going on for you right now, you can bring it here. I offer a safe, confidential space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions, without judgement, or unwanted advice. It’s important to me that our work is collaborative; we'll go at your pace, gently & respectfully.

Through our sessions, we can talk through current life challenges, explore the past and how it influences your present, and work on your relationships…with yourself and others. We might address limiting behaviours or face challenges like depression and anxiety together. My aim is to create a safe and nurturing space where you can uncover insights, heal, and grow emotionally.

At its core, counselling is really just a conversation, you talk, and I listen. It might sound surprisingly simple, even hard to believe, that something so straightforward could lead to such meaningful change. And yet, time and time again, research and lived experience show us just how powerful it can be to open up to someone who is truly present and trustworthy.

When we speak our thoughts out loud, especially the ones we often keep buried or hidden, we begin to make sense of them in new ways. Sharing pain, confusion, or fear with someone who listens without judgment can bring an immense sense of relief and clarity. It’s in these moments of connection and understanding that real healing starts to take place.

One of the most important elements of counselling is the relationship itself....the trust, safety, and connection that builds between therapist and client. This therapeutic relationship creates a unique space where you can explore your inner world with honesty and compassion. It’s not just about being heard, it’s about being seen, understood, and supported without conditions or expectations. That kind of connection can be profoundly life-changing.
